I am a driven product design student with a passion for design led problem solving and a keen eye for creative detail. With experience in various disciplines including engineering design, consumer electronics, furniture and novelty gift design, I have developed a passion for taking products from the initial ideation stage through to fully developed commercially feasible products.
Completing an Erasmus Semester in Valencia and a diverse placement year at numerous design companies exposed me to all aspects of running a successful design business. My final year projects have encompassed all the knowledge I have gained over the past four years and reflect my passion for solving real world problems through creative design.

Major Study Project:
Compression+ is an innovative consumer snow chain that drastically reduces snow chain application and removal times. Combining an instinctive application process with an automatic compression system ensures the product is always fixed firmly to the vehicle wheel, resulting in drastically increased traction and heightened safety for the motorist.
SAPA Aluminium Extrusion Project:
Vehicle Roof Rack System
The final design solution for the aluminium extrusion project was a universal removable roof rack system for a passenger vehicle that can be easily applied and removed by one person.
The design features an extruded profile with orange rubber support blocks, these provide the foundation for the system and protect the vehicle from damage. The support blocks have a slot with which a strap can be passed through that has a plastic clip attached to each end. This plastic clip can be securely fixed underneath the door arch. The aluminium extrusion slides into place and has an integrated nut slot that is used in conjunction with a M5 bolt to secure the roof bar to the support blocks.
