My work celebrates simplicity of form, the purity of a good shape and our emotional connection with the materials around us. I believe in poetic design, making beautiful things, pieces that endure, inspire and aspire to be inherited. I refine and refine my designs until I feel I have arrived at my idea of perfection, but I seek to leave them with a lightness of touch. The manner in which pieces are produced is as important to me as the designs themselves and I manufacture with a serious commitment to quality and attention to detail and finish.

A stool that has an emphasis on strong shapes, careful sensitivity to how the piece will be used and a dedication to expert making and quality materiality. Made from american white oak, Esme is a multi-functional piece that can be used at a desk, at a dinner table or even in the lounge. Key to the visual character of the design is the leg joint which gives the piece as a sense of weightlessness as the seat appears to float. The simple brass inlay on the underside gives a subtle contrast that gives dimension to the piece.
Clement is a desk that embraces the use of technology. Made from Oak and English walnut, it exudes character and will age gracefully over time. It features a hollow leg that facilitates a cable that powers plug sockets and USB’s, making it easy to power devices. This is all concealed within the top of the desk and can be accessed by removing a small panel. Clement is made with a serious commitment to quality, attention to detail and finish.
