My experience as an emerging designer has inspired me to center my process on creating flexible design solutions for consumers, giving them a level of personal control over their products and ensuring the products' longevity in a changing world.
Frame Works
Frame Works offers a variety of components to help customers DIY their own furniture, fostering a branded DIY movement that promotes the use of upcycled materials or gives customers the freedom to select the materials that best suit their chosen environment.
By making sure that components of the "Frame Works" can be swapped to make a new piece when the previous is no longer needed, the design ensures that upcycling is planned into the timeline of the product in a circular loop.
Through utilising the same brackets and slotting system across several ranges, which can be applied to new designs as the brand expands, Frame Works has the capacity for further growth and addition of new components applied to the same system.
Canvas
Canvas' is a vibrant lighting option with a sleek, contemporary appearance that complements any type of decor. It's distinctive feature is the colour changing mode, which casts light forward into a fabric ring to produce a soft coloured surface glow, while also reflecting the lamp's back with a variety of brilliant and dramatic colours, creating a hypnotic display that adds a dash of excitement to your environment.
Whether you want to add some colour to your bedroom, living room, or even your desk, the Canvas table lamp offers vibrant alternatives for each environment. While the flexibility to utilise brighter, more vivid colours, 'Canvas' can produce a lively and energetic ambiance. Its soft, ambient lighting options are ideal for generating a soothing atmosphere by employing less powerful colours.
