I consider myself as a designer-maker, with a particular interest in designing products that will create solutions to everyday problems. I especially enjoy working with timber, as well as experimenting with new materials and techniques. Alongside this, I also have a keen interest in product marketing and branding.
The Al Frestation
The Al Frestation aims to encourage socialising, and engaging with nature, both of which are proven to have mental health and wellbeing benefits.
The size of the unit allows multiple people to use it at one time, creating a more social food preparation space, whilst being surrounded by nature. The portability of the design makes the process of outdoor dining easier.
The unit has wheels, allowing the user to move it around their outdoor space, as well as being able to take the internal storage components out, improving the transportation of items from indoors to outdoors. Storage options include a hanging rail, trays of various sizes, shelves and chopping boards, all of which can be slotted securely into any section of the unit, allowing consumers to have a choice of storage type and positioning, depending on their preference. The unit is hand crafted from British sourced materials; Western Red Cedar and Stainless Steel; designed to withstand all weather conditions.
The Monterrey Incense Lamp
The Monterrey Incense Lamp is a timber product that combines an incense stick holder, storage and light. The unique concept was heavily influenced by the renowned British designer, Sir Terence Conran, whose love for cigars provided the initial inspiration behind the product. The name is derived from his favourite cigars; representing and continuing his legacy. The re-chargeable light unit allows the product to be moved around by the consumer and can be used independantly from the holder.
Wherever positioned, the lamp provides a mesmerizing, smoky glow due to the combination of an ambient light and incense. The aroma from the incense, along with smoke and light, creates a calming environment.
