As a child, I enjoyed watching films about robotics. This has heavily influenced my design projects, where I focus on using technology to improve the users' life. I hope to be part of the group that continues to bring new technologies into the mainstream.
NextGen
NextGen offers a more exciting alternative to the existing robotic education products on the market. Being a full size, yet simple to assemble and use humanoid robot, young people can easily have access to technology that until recently would have cost thousands. Due to the unit being modular, schools can design new parts to be added to the unit, allowing for Design and Technology, Computer Science and ICT lessons to all share the same resource.
CIPO
CIPO arrives as a pack of four tags, which can be fixed into a silicone case. The user can set how long the food item has before it expires, and then mount the tag to the produce. When the food is about to expire, the tag will flash to alert the user, who is also notified via an app. This helps users cut down on food waste and easily plan their meals, as they can schedule when to eat foods based on when they will expire.
