These ski mittens have been created with circularity and sustainability in mind, resulting in a product that not only performs well on the slopes but also has a low environmental impact. The mittens are made with environmentally friendly materials, including a soft and durable outer shell made of leather waste and a cosy inner lining made of organic merino wool.
These mittens are not only made of sustainable materials, but they are also built to last. They have reinforced stitching and a strong construction to withstand the rigours of frequent use on the slopes. When the mittens reach the end of their useful life, they can be easily disassembled and recycled or biodegraded, allowing them to continue in the circular lifecycle.
Overall, these ski mittens demonstrate that circular and sustainable design can be both functional and stylish, offering a solution for conscientious skiers/snowboarders who want to enjoy the outdoors while minimizing their environmental footprint.
Pillar
Considering how challenging it is to disassemble and repair current portable speakers, Pillar was created as a portable Bluetooth speaker with an innovative circular system that facilitates simple disassembly and encourages reuse, repair, and upgradeability of its components. Consequently reducing waste and promoting sustainable systems for the future. When a component is no longer usable, materials and components can be separated individually to enable recycling.
To combat the timeless nature of Pillar, a customisable shell enables replacements and upgrades for profitability within the business plan. The interactive rotating dial links to vintage audio products, giving it a timeless feel designed to withstand the test of time and blend in with any decor.
