Task Decider
Many people struggle with procrastination and work productivity, particularly students and freelancers, people who are in charge of their own time but don't know how to control it. The Task Decider aims to tackle three factors that can increase procrastination - choice anxiety, time management, and smartphone use.
Choice anxiety can lead to procrastination as the struggle to decide what work to start on gets harder as the amount of work you have to do piles up. The Task Decider eliminates this choice by randomly choosing a task for you to do, creating more time to do the work in question.
A popular method of time management is the pomodoro method, by breaking down work into intervals, making work more manageable and achievable.
And lastly - by placing the phone in a slot behind the timer, you see the timer every time you want to reach for the phone - dissuading you from picking it up.
The product is designed with user experience in mind, making it simple to use and interact with.
Above - Making Use of Hard to Reach Storage Space
Storage space is something that a lot of people struggle with, particularly young renters with limited spending power and housing choice.
Statistically, around 75% of the population (50% of men, and 97% of women using the normal distribution model) don?t have the height and reach to access the top shelf of tall wall cabinets. Resulting in an underutilised space for storage, and unlike homeowners, they are not free to adjust and make changes to their kitchens to suit themselves. This leads to them having to live in spaces that aren?t accessible.
Above aims to provide a renter-friendly storage solution that is easy to install and remove, giving renters the option and ability to customise their kitchens to their needs.
