Innovation within the construction industry (ErgoBag)

The project was inspired by my dad who has been working as a plumbing and heating engineer for over 40 years. In histime on the tools, I have seen firsthand the amount of heavy lifting that he has to carry out during a normal work day and the only reoccuring interaction daily was with his toolbag. This weights around 15-20KG and puts a great deal of strain on the users shoulders when carrying. The lack of product innovation surrounding toolbag designs means they are awkward to carry, colliding with the users legs if they arent holding the toolbag with an outstretched arm away from their bodies. The redesign including the ergonomic curve in my product the 'ErgoBag' allows for users to hold their arms down in a natural position taking the strain off of the shoulder joint.
