My experience in a CAD-focused role developed my technical ability as well as my confidence in delivering frontline support and training to customers. I thrive on visual communication and iterative design, using research-led insights to inform practical and engaging solutions. My work aims to balance function with empathy, always considering the user's needs.
KangaClub
KangaClub is an inclusive wearable system designed to support children aged 3-5 through the maintenance phase of clubfoot treatment: a period often marked by emotional, physical, and practical challenges. The system combines motion-tracking sensors for multiplanar movement measurement in the foot, with a specially designed sock that holds them in place during use. The KangaClub app then monitors activity, encourages movement, and keeps families informed and engaged.
Developed through extensive researchbased on personal experiences and parent insights, KangaClub helps reduce the risk of relapse by promoting physical activity and consistent brace wear. The platform supports stronger communication between clinicians and families between appointments, while playful features and customsiable elements empower children to feel proud of their progress.
KangaClub turns treatment into teamwork: supporting routines, strengthening relationships, and helping children feel part of something, not set apart by something.
Solara
Solara is a lamp designed to combat the effects of SAD (Seasonal affective disorder), aka 'The Winter Blues'. When not in use for light therapy, Solara has the added functionality of an ambient mood lamp with 3 temperature settings and a knurled dimmer dial to set the atmosphere. This, along with the classic selection of materials and finishes (deep stained ash with brushed brass accents) set it apart from the existing, clinical looking SAD lamp market. The timeless design makes it suitable for use in any room, whether it be the bedroom, living room or even in a home office. Solara is the perfect addition to provide your daily dose of sunshine, anytime.
