As an industrial designer, I design products with an emphasis on both form and function, combining the worlds of industrial design and engineering, to create functional and tangible products that meet the needs of its users.
Think Tiles

Think Tiles is a Maths and English learning tool that is aimed towards making all areas of Maths and English inclusive to people with Colour Vision Deficiency (CVD).
CVD, more commonly referred to as Colour Blindness, is a condition of the eye that affects how a person perceives colour due to one or more of the three coloured cones in the eye not working correctly.
The design consists of plastic cubes and tile inserts that allow the parts to be arranged in different set ups to cover individual areas of the two subjects. To meet the needs of CVD users, the tiles are printed on and produced in white plastic to ensure that no words or symbols are on coloured backgrounds as this is a struggle for those users.
LightCycle

Lightcycle is a bespoke floor lamp designed utilising upcycled bicycle components to combat ongoing problems of bicycles ending up in landfill at the end of their product life. Referred to as "bicycle graveyards", these landfill sites have formed as a result of too many bicycles being produced by bike sharing companies, which have then been seized by governments for being left stranded on the streets. LightCycle has been designed to blend the original bike colour scheme with a simplistic design aesthetic to create an art deco style to the lamp. Featuring a two part clamp system, the dials on either side of the lampshade allow its position to be adjusted to change the direction and mood of the light.
