Pondero
Pondero is a mood light made to spark calm, curiosity, and a sense of ease within a space. Its surface is crafted from hand-beaten reflective metal, which catches and bends light in a way that creates soft, water-like patterns on walls and ceilings. The shifting reflections gently fill the room, turning it into a peaceful space to unwind and think, allowing the user to reflect and break away from the chaos of life. Pondero offers something subtle and soothing, it focuses on creating an atmosphere, not just lighting a room. The design blends craft and emotion, turning simple materials into something that feels thoughtful and alive. Whether you're resting, daydreaming, or just taking a break, Pondero sets the scene for slowing down and recuperating.
Mister U
Mr U is a sustainably designed stool created for Benchmark, with a focus on eco-conscious craftsmanship and practical design. Built entirely without glue, it uses traditional joinery techniques, cleverly combined with rope and friction, to create a secure design. This approach allows the stool to be assembled and disassembled with ease making it perfect for transport, storage and repair.
Designed for longevity, Mr U is both durable and highly functional, making it a versatile addition to any space, whether at home, in a studio or a workshop. Its clean, minimal form reflects a thoughtful design process that values simplicity, adaptability, and longevity.
Mr U proves that smart design doesn't need to be complex. By using age-old methods in a modern context, it offers an alternative to disposable, mass-produced furniture, one that's endlessly useful, easy to live with, and made to last.
