‘To design a kitchen knife that combines traditional asian craftmanship with modern ergonomics’
Traditional Asian craftsmanship is fading as modern machines take over. Skills that were once passed down through generations are being lost, and many tools now feel mass-produced, cheap, and lacking in character. This is especially true with kitchen knives, which often trade quality and meaning for convenience.
This project aims to design a kitchen knife that brings back the beauty and care of traditional craftsmanship while making sure it feels comfortable and practical to use today. The goal is to create a knife that looks and feels special—something that blends heritage with modern function.
