Pearlescence is a sculptural standing light designed to bring nature, calm, and individuality into the home. Each piece is hand-carved from reclaimed wood, giving the light a flowing, organic form inspired by simplified plant shapes. This labour-intensive process ensures no two lights are exactly the same, celebrating craftsmanship and material character. The body appears to gently drip and float, supported by a slim metal stand that gives it a weightless, elegant presence in the room.

Biophilic principles are central to the design, with trailing succulents like String of Pearls growing over time from a dish integrated into the form. These hardy plants require only light misting, making them easy to maintain while adding life and movement. At the core of the light are two smart LED domes one at the top and one below, both safely sealed with rubber gaskets to protect the electrics from moisture. These lights can be adjusted in brightness and tone, helping to set different moods and support wellbeing throughout the day.
