I am a Welsh designer inspired by nature, driven by experimentation, and unafraid to explore unconventional ideas. My work focuses on creating visually pleasing products with a consistent emphasis on function. User interaction is central to my approach, as I aim to design tactile, playful objects that engage the user.
Goleuo

Some Welsh industries may seem forgotten today. Swansea was once known as the "Copperopolis" of the world, and South Wales has deep roots in the production and export of high-quality wool goods, both within the UK and internationally. This project seeks to shine a light on these two overlooked industries by working with Welsh Mountain wool, now largely considered a low-grade material used for insulation and inexpensive carpets, and copper, a material now predominantly sourced from Chile.
By utilising AI as a design tool, the project explores the material properties of copper while also exploring AI's capabilities in convey a story rich in heritage.
Goleuo is a family of three lamps, crafted from Welsh Mountain wool and copper, designed to illuminate public awareness of these once vital industries and to highlight the richness of Wales's industrial past.
