I am a hard of hearing designer. I have a unique outlook that I apply to my design. My ethos is that design should thrive to help the people around us, whether this be creating a better quality of life, or bringing more joy and happiness. I aspire to take my design journey further with an exploration into the interior and homeware industries
Orbit
Orbit is a fire safety product to help the deaf community. Creating a better approach to the products currently used in the home environment. I have developed three individual components; the smoke and CO2 detector, the portable strobe light, and the vibration disc for when the user is sleeping. These devices can work
together to effectively alert a deaf and hard of hearing user in a fire emergency event at all times. Controlled via an app, the devices are easy to control and have a range of various settings allowing each user to customise their experience to best suit their needs.
Senso Diffuser
Senso is a diffuser designed to reduce stress and anxiety levels in the bedroom while building a deeper emotional engagement. A way to get away from the 24/7 plugged in culture, creating a new wellbeing ritual.
