Medi Tedi
Medi Tedi is a medical role play toy, featuring an oximeter, blood pressure monitor and sputum sample collection pot and developed with the aim of inspiring independence in healthcare monitoring. In consultation with medical professionals, parents of children with Cystic Fibrosis and educational experts, this product empowers children with Cystic Fibrosis through education. Feelings of apprehension can be reduced when a child is aware of what the medical procedure involves and understands why it is beneficial to them. Prompt
Prompt is a lighting system that encourages behavioural change so as to promote healthy daily habits that reduce the risks of a sedentary lifestyle. This desk light is responsive to a tailored app which details essential activities such as exercise, healthy eating habits and staying hydrated. With the proposed business model of the device being supplied by health insurance companies for work places, who then gift these to their employees, the benefits of this lighting system are felt by employers who have fewer employees taking time off, and employees who have a personalised daily routine, as encouraged by the employer.
