BA (Hons) Product Design
Anna Ward
I enjoy designing Practical products that are effortless to use.
My process is focused on extensive modelling and working closely with the target user to understand how they naturally interact with the products.
I would like to make a difference in the femtech industry through the development of female orientated medical products
Bloom
Bloom is a lifestyle brand that assists women in early labour. Going into hospital early raises your chance of caesarean. Along with Tens technology the device includes squeeze and breath features to tackle this issue by keeping women calm and in control at home as well as a contraction tracker that tells women when to go into hospital.
Eyla
Eyla is an iron designed through analysing human behaviour. The temperature dial has been designed so that it is consistent with the icons on a clothes label. Using smart technology, the docking station tells you what type of energy you are receiving from the national grid. Eyla doesn't just aim to educate the user around sustainable ironing but also sustainable energy usage in all products
