YONO 1

273513-258542 - N0928759 - Zahra Achda- 28 April, 2024 1007 PM - Achda_Zahra_Trailshare_Co

This project's focus is to create a sofa that challenges the sofa industry by giving power back to the owner by encouraging self-repair and promoting the product's lifespan, saving customers money in the long run. Using quality materials in a sensible fashion allows for a beautiful exposed oak frame with comfortable upholstered cushions that can be swapped instantly, changing the style of the sofa as the user sees fit. The design was cleverly constructed to make self-repair easy, with replacement parts available for every component, so people can feel confident knowing that their sofa can last as long as they see fit. Having this product able to be disassembled and repaired does not take away from the comfort, as the YONO 1 has traditional zig-zag springs in the inner frame, allowing for all-day comfort for years to come. You Only Need One- YONO.

Mangifera

Mangifera, which is designed for Habitat, is based on the use of mango wood (Mangifera indica). The grain flows fluidly, creating a beautiful, unique visual on every piece that almost has its own personality. The stark nature of the powder-coated legs allows the colour and character of the wood to come into their own, creating this simplistic but beautiful product.

Its primary function is to complement a sofa, subtly adding functionality to the space. Due to Mangifera's flat back edge, two can be butted against each other to create an occasional multipurpose table for those with limited space.
