I am a creative designer who designs functional pieces that enable people's lives to be improved, making hard tasks easier and pushing the boundaries of how far a design can go. I believe that people needs are at the centre of every design whilst promoting the use of sustainable resources.
The left-handed handwriting grip
The concept of the left-handed handwriting grip came directly from primary school teacher feedback that revealed some left-handed children developed 'hook hand'. Whilst the children are taught the tripod grip in school, left-handed children sometimes adjust their grip on the pencil so that they can see what they are writing. The indents on the grip help know where to place their fingers, whilst the length of the grip provides support for their fingers when writing.
