Enjoying every part of the design process, I love to see how an idea evolves and develops over time. With great attention to detail, I strive to create simple yet highly considered products that are responsibly designed, flexible to user needs and ensure longevity.
Hex
Demand for British-made products is increasing since consumers are becoming more conscious of their purchasing habits. Hex is a lightweight and sleek dining chair designed for easy, local and sustainable production, considering the UK's current manufacturing industry. Made from plywood and crafted using only a CNC machine, a single standard 1220x2440mm board offers three chairs with minimal waste. The material's laminated construction creates visual interest at the joints and edges, elevating its appearance. Fitting seamlessly into the modern home, the chair's simple design is constructed from just six interlocking pieces and assembled with adhesive to ensure a straightforward manufacturing process.
LiteMove
Relocating is becoming increasingly common due to work commitments and financial challenges. LiteMove is designed to move with people and provide agile and flexible illumination in the rented home. Crafted with versatility in mind, the product incorporates two independently-controllable light heads, each connected to the base station via a four-metre-long cable, enabling users to deploy lighting flexibly within their space. Whether illuminating a whole room or pockets of space, the lightweight and stylish product accommodates both table and wall-mounted lighting to suit user needs. Additionally, when relocating the cables coil up and it becomes compact for ease of transportation between homes.
