Noa

Only 24% of people sit on a sofa in its intended position. Many prefer to throw themselves on their sofa in weird and wonderful ways to get as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, this results in a lack of support, which can lead to eventual discomfort and long-term health complications.

Noa is a modular sofa that provides you with the freedom of throwing yourself on a sofa, slouching to your heart's content, while caring for your spine and posture. Its interchangeable wedge cushions provide ultimate comfort and gentle support through carefully considered angular features.

Removing these wedges transforms Noa into a 3-person social hub, allowing you to spend quality time with those you love, making every moment memorable and comfortable.

Aurora

If you’re feeling overwhelmed during uncertain times, Aurora can help.

Aurora is a desk lamp that combines feelings of nostalgia with chromotherapy to provide personalised emotional support. Influenced by 1970s Space Age design, it’s glossy chrome finish and fluid form symbolise forward momentum, urging you to look towards a brighter future and overcome obstacles with renewed determination.

Aurora has three interchangeable acrylic discs that emit warm orange, calming green, and soothing purple light. These colours were selected based on their use in chromotherapy, which is known to aid in relaxation, stress relief, and create a comforting atmosphere. A frosted lampshade enhances the warm glow that Aurora provides, and the pivoting head can direct light wherever you need it, creating a truly customised experience.

Aurora addresses the brief “How might we create a home lighting product that evokes feelings of comfort and nostalgia in times of uncertainty using the New Retro design trend?”. New Retro blends modern elements with past eras and is driven by a sense of nostalgia and a desire to connect with the past, particularly during difficult periods or major life changes.
