As an aspiring 3rd year BA Product Design student, design engineer and concept designer for ESP Fitness and Wellness, I have worked on and completed many commercial and residential design projects, both individually and in a group setting. I create products that are born from in-depth research that serve to solve an identified problem. Each product has its own story and I believe that there is never truly an end to how far something can be improved.

The fortis 1 is a multi-functional, strength training machine that aims to increase the access to domestic strength training. Existing domestic equipment harbour issues such as large footprints/size, high cost and difficult installation processes. The fortis 1 combats these issues through a simple installation process and guide, along with a reduced cost for the user and a small footprint. At a 03m x 0.28m footprint, The fortis one still offers high performance training, with height, weight and directional adjustability, allowing the user to train every major muscle group. The product aims to allow users to hit their health and fitness goals from the comfort of their home with ease of installation.

Grand Layered Pendant

The Grand Layered Pendant is a pendant light designed with shade layering, that features a bulb encasing inspired by forms of deVOL’s ‘Frilly’ range. The idea was to create a light influenced by the design characteristics and material choices of deVOL’s pendant range, whilst adding an element of complexity and layering. This pendant is intended to be a centre piece that creates an ambient mood lighting effect, whilst providing adequate environment illumination. The lower shade can be twisted off so that the bulb can be accessed and changed when necessary.
