I think being a designer is observing everyday things and the little things people do with them, like how they pick something up, turn it on, or wear it without thinking about it. Those times when people naturally interact with each other are what draw me to product design and what I try to understand before I start designing anything. I like minimalism because it means that a design should only do what it needs to do and nothing else. Less stuff, more purpose.
As a designer, I like the beginning of the process when I'm sketching, exploring, and putting together an idea. At that point, anything seems possible. I get the most ideas and excitement in that space in between when decisions are being made. I learn best by doing things, and I enjoy getting things in my hands the most. I find a prototype is more honest than a render.
The industry I like the most is sports and active living. In this field, design has to look good and work well, and the connection between the object and the user is the most direct. As a young designer, I'm still figuring out how I work, but curiosity has always been what pushes me forward.

Sprout

A smart object designed to solve a modern problem the inability to transition from passive boredom to intentional activity. The issue is not motivation. It is the absence of a prompt at the right moment. Sprout displays simple activity suggestions, outings, tasks, movement, social plans cycling gently throughout the day. It sits on your desk, ambient and undemanding, ready to offer the nudge before your phone fills the gap.

Woven Radiance

Light Woven Radiance is a side table lamp intended to subtly create atmosphere. Designed for quieter, personal spaces, it provides a feeling of warmth and calm, a place to stop, read, or sit with your thoughts as the day draws to a close. The lamp is built from a honest material palette: a weighty, cast concrete base provides sculptural stability, while a raw steel arm o¬ffers adjustable utility. This industrial frame is then wrapped in natural twine, a detail that weaves tactile warmth into the form and softly diff¬uses the 2700K glow of the filament bulb, casting a textured presence that feels grounded, crafted, and quietly reassuring.
