As a designer I am inspired by technical beauty - optimal function found in emotive form is the pinnacle of design to me. This perception was furthered during my placement year were I was privileged to help build bespoke interiors for superyachts mixing modern technology with artisanal craftsmanship. Coming into the final year of university I have continued implemented this approach into my work with better more refined skills and a sharpened attention to detail.

The two tone powder coating micro vacuum is a purely functional project driven by the objective of reducing labour time spent in the two tone powder coating process. The project explores this manufacturing process by utilising the knowledge of an industry expert and the fresh perspective of a designer. The result is a transforming ergonomic micro vacuum suited for every working scenario. The design utilises premium materials and literal colour ways to achieve a striking industrial design.

Apian is a biophilic-inspired ambient light designed to introduce calm and natural harmony into the home. Its honeycomb‑influenced form captures the quiet beauty of nature, while soft frosted lighting bands diffuse a soothing, aureate glow that transforms the space into a gentle escape.
Developed in response to the modern struggle to unwind, Apian centres on supporting mental decompression. User insights revealed a clear desire for environments that encourage emotional ease, guiding the design toward a lighting experience that promotes comfort, clarity, and mindful relaxation.
Apian creates a sanctuary within the everyday — an invitation to slow down, breathe, and switch off.
