My placement within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Industry has helped progress my adaptability, innovation, and dynamic outlook on design for manufacture whilst focusing on user-centred design and consumer needs. PeeBe is a portable stand-to-pee device designed for female athletes to urinate through, outside, during long distance runs. It focuses on increasing accessibility, inclusion, and confidence. PeeBe is a discreet and practical solution with unique features that eliminate leaks, require no nudity, and is portable and efficient. It was was developed to be a lightweight, flexible and empowering product. PeeBe tackles taboos and allows for free flowing conversations about the more stigmatised and less glamorous aspects of long distance running.

Weigh’n’Go

Weigh’n’Go is an in-fridge weighing device designed be a sustainable solution to reduce food waste. Consumables are weighed before and after use to help consumers track and understand their grocery usage patterns, linked to the preexisting Ocado app, and automatically update orders based on demand. Silicone for food safety, waterproofing, and ease of cleanliness for long term usage, as well as having ‘feet’ to elevate it off the shelf of the fridge for easy moving and to reduce moisture buildup. Weigh’n’Go is modular for repairability and sustainability. To make the product carbon neutral, the consumer must only save 2kg of food waste annually.
