BA

I'm a designer that is drawn to colour, material and finish, and how these details shape the way a product feels and supports the person using it. I love creating work that genuinely helps individuals, and design gives the space to explore new ideas and push my creative thinking. My placement in industrial lighting design strengthened my technical understanding, but it also confirmed that I want to move into a field where CMF is central to the process.

Safehold Studio is a design‑led jewellery brand that creates tactile, grounding pieces to support adults experiencing social anxiety. It blends emotional wellbeing with contemporary craft, using form, texture, and movement to offer discreet moments of calm throughout the day. Each piece is designed to be both a beautiful accessory and a subtle self‑soothing tool, giving the wearer a sense of safety they can carry with them. The brand prioritises dignity, inclusivity, and material sensitivity, offering an alternative to childish or clinical anxiety products by creating jewellery that feels mature, intentional, and quietly supportive.

The Fritillaria Light

The Fritillaria light is a floor lamp that is inspired by Parisian café culture and the deVOL aesthetic. It aims to create ambient lighting in any room that it is placed. The shade is made from glass, coming in 3 different colours allowing the customer to pick the best option for their home. The colour of the glass will reflect onto the surrounding walls to create the Parisian café atmosphere. The rest of the light will be made from brass linking it back to the deVOL aesthetic.
