he/him

I am a furniture and product designer who finds inspiration and innovation through making and testing. I would describe my design style as hands on, physically testing with materials and ideas. I am interested in the future of design, new technologies, materials and proses. For my final year projects, I have experimented with designing a 3D knitted light and I have experimented with utilising AI in a design workflow. These experiments into the future of design are my design passion combining with unwritten rules on how proses should be done allows for true creativity.

Tether

Designed for Camira Knit, Tether is an experimental design which highlights the benefits of using 3D knit. Tether has a fabric mechanism on the top of the light which functions as a handle, allowing the user to change the lights modes from ambient to a focused light, the handle and body of the light are printed as one. A changing density in the fabric is possible with 3D knit technology, allowing Tether to have more control over the direction of the light.
