Throughout my time at Nottingham Trent, I’ve developed my design skills in both academic and professional settings. I completed a nine-month placement at Riber Products, an injection-moulding company, where I gained hands-on experience in design for manufacture, visual communication, teamwork, and design presentation. I learned how to communicate complex ideas clearly, both visually and verbally, and how to collaborate with engineers to refine concepts that can be manufactured reliably. Before studying at NTU, I was mainly focused on getting to the end product as quickly as possible. My studies have since shown me the value of taking time to explore ideas, refine them, and make considered design decisions along the way.

The RE-SWND HEADPHONES are the fist fully repairable pair of high quality headphones on the market. There goal is to promote and raise awareness of repair culture though reducing the barriers to repair that are prevalent in most electronic products in today’s society. They aim to act as a staple of how all electronic products should be designed, with consideration to updates in technology, damages and education.
